Basketball Recap: Maypearl Comes Up Short

Maypearl was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost to the Grandview Zebras at home by a 82-63 margin. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 79-47 on January 3rd.

Maypearl's loss dropped their record down to 6-25. As for Grandview, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-16 record this season.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Blooming Grove the next time they take the court. Grandview will host Blooming Grove at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, while Maypearl will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on February 4th.
