Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Brycelynn Ledbetter and Hayden Anderson Lead Century to Victory + How To Watch

Century won the last time they faced Joppa-Maple Grove and things went their way on Thursday too. The Centurions came out on top against the Rangers by a score of 2-0.

Century easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-15.

Leading Century to victory were Hayden Anderson and Brycelynn Ledbetter. Anderson had 17 digs and three aces, while Ledbetter had six digs and five aces. Those five aces gave Ledbetter a new career-high.

They weren't the only good server: Century was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 13 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least seven aces in six consecutive contests.

Century's win bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Joppa-Maple Grove, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.
