Softball Recap: Spring Valley Takes a Loss

After flying high against Eldorado on Wednesday, Spring Valley came back down to earth. The Grizzlies came up short against the Southeast Career Tech Roadrunners on Thursday, falling 11-0. The loss continues a trend for the Grizzlies in their meetings with the Roadrunners: they've now lost three in a row.

Spring Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 14-9. As for Southeast Career Tech, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 15-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Spring Valley will head out to face off against Bonanza at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. The Bengals have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 10.07 runs per game on average), something the Grizzlies will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Southeast Career Tech, they will head out on the road to challenge Desert Oasis at 3:30 p.m. on Monday.
