Basketball Recap: Hannibal Takes a Loss

Hannibal was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were dealt a 58-31 defeat at the hands of the Fatima Comets. The game marked the Pirates' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Hannibal's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Fatima, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-2.

Hannibal will host Quincy Notre Dame at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Fatima, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Blair Oaks at 7:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
