Football Game Preview: North Oconee Titans vs. Cedar Shoals Jaguars + How To Watch

The North Oconee Titans will venture away from home to take on the Cedar Shoals Jaguars at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. North Oconee knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 31 points or more in their past five games -- so hopefully Cedar Shoals likes a good challenge.

Last Friday, North Oconee blew past East Forsyth, posting a 41-6 victory. The win continues a trend for the Titans in their matchups with the Broncos: they've now won four in a row.

Meanwhile, Cedar Shoals is still winless after their matchup against Walnut Grove on Friday, but the team can take solace in the fact it was the closest they've come to winning. They were three points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 9-6 heartbreaker at the hands of the Warriors.

Cedar Shoals' loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for North Oconee, their victory bumped their record up to 5-0.

Everything came up roses for North Oconee against Cedar Shoals in their previous matchup back in September of 2024, as the team secured a 49-7 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Titans since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
