Basketball Recap: Fairfield Central Takes a Loss

Fairfield Central suffered their biggest defeat since December 12, 2023 on Friday. They were dealt a 78-40 loss at the hands of the Keenan Raiders. The Griffins were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 41-20.

Several Griffins players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jaden Mozie, who went 6 of 13 on his way to 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Rashawn Brown, who posted ten points and five assists.

Fairfield Central now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Keenan, the victory got them back to even at 4-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fairfield Central will take on Camden in a holiday battle at at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Keenan, they will head out to square off against Savannah at 8:30 p.m. on December 20th.
