Basketball Game Preview: Turner County Titans vs. Brooks County Trojans

The Turner County Titans will square off against the Brooks County Trojans at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both will really light up the scoreboard.

On Wednesday, Turner County came up short against Charlton County and fell 67-60.

Meanwhile, Brooks County strolled past Irwin County with points to spare on Wednesday, taking the game 60-46. Given the Trojans' advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 125th, while the Indians are ranked 316th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Brooks County is also on a roll lately: they've won 15 of their last 16 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 19-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.0 points per game. As for Turner County, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 16-7.
