After losing to Pontotoc the last time they met, Tupelo Christian Prep decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Eagles narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Warriors 2-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Eagles.

Tupelo Christian Prep had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 16-25, 25-18, 15-11.

Tupelo Christian Prep's victory bumped their record up to 2-0.

Coming up, Tupelo Christian Prep will head out to challenge Falkner at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Pontotoc, they will square off against Saltillo at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
