Volleyball Recap: Sonoraville Extends Home Winning Streak to Four

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Sonoraville walked away with it. They came out on top against the Coahulla Creek Colts by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 2-0 win on Saturday.

Sonoraville got the W, but it wasn't easy, at least in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 17-25, 30-28, 25-22.

Tracy Par was the offensive standout of the match as she had 11 digs and one assist. Those 11 digs gave her a new career-high.

Sonoraville was lethal from the service line and finished the match with ten aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Coahulla Creek only served eight.

When it comes to explaining why Coahulla Creek lost, don't look at Natalie Snow. Despite the final result, she had 18 digs and four aces.

Sonoraville's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 32-18. As for Coahulla Creek, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 21-23 record this season.

Sonoraville will venture away from home to take on Burke County at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Coahulla Creek does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
