(NR) Montverde Academy (Fla.), 23-4Montverde Academy made a resounding statement this past weekend at the Metro Classic in New Jersey after dismantling High School Top 25 No. 19 Linden (N.J.) 61-38 and toppling previously High School Top 25-ranked Roselle Catholic (N.J.) 63-51. The Eagles have now beaten eight teams which have appeared in the High School Top 25 or Independent Top 10 rankings this season, including big-time wins over No. 1 IMG Academy and No. 5 Findlay Prep (Henderson, Nev.). R.J. Barrett is averaging 21.5 points, 6.4 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game this year to head the well-balanced Eagles.
