Volleyball Recap: New Miami's Win Ends Four-Game Losing Streak on the Road

New Miami took a three-set loss the last time they faced off against Tri-County North, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Vikings sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over the Panthers on Tuesday. For the Vikings, this counts as revenge for the 3-0 win the Panthers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2019.

Despite the loss, Tri-County North still got an impressive performance from Paityn Davidson, who had 25 digs and four assists. Davidson is crushing it when it comes to digs: she's had at least 14 every time she's taken the court this season.

New Miami's victory ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-3. As for Tri-County North, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. New Miami will welcome St. Bernard-Elmwood Place at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Tri-County North, they will host National Trail at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
