Basketball Game Preview: Northgate Flames vs. Leechburg Blue Devils

The Northgate Flames will head out to challenge the Leechburg Blue Devils at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Last Friday, Northgate came up short against Beaver and fell 60-50. The Flames have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Leechburg had to endure a five-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They secured a 51-47 W over Propel Braddock Hills on Friday.

Northgate better focus on containing Rocco Vigna and Chase Henry as the pair were huge in Leechburg's win. Vigna went 8 of 13 en route to 19 points, while Henry went 6 for 11 on his way to 14 points and three steals. The dominant performance gave Vigna a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Brady Rollinger, who posted 12 points along with eight boards and four steals.

Leechburg's win ended a nine-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-6. As for Northgate, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.
