Volleyball Recap: Armada Comes Up Short at Home Against Utica

Armada unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Utica Chieftains on Saturday.

While Armada ultimately came up short, they really made Utica work, particularly in the first set. The final score came out to 27-25, 25-16.

Utica's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-5-1.

Coming up, Armada will take on Lutheran North at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Utica, they will take on Port Huron Northern in a tournament on Saturday.
