West Jordan had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 13-run drubbing they dealt Kearns on Tuesday. The Jaguars were the clear victors by a 15-2 margin over the Cougars. The result was nothing new for the Jaguars, who have now won 11 games by six runs or more so far this season.

Austin Gehman tossed a big game, tossing five innings while giving up just two earned runs off nine hits.

At the plate, Brock Litchfield was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two triples, three runs, and three RBI. Those two triples gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Ethan Baldwin, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base.

West Jordan kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 16 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Kearns only managed nine hits.

West Jordan's victory was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 17-3. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.3 runs over those games. As for Kearns, they are on a 19-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-18.

West Jordan will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Cougars: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
