Volleyball Recap: Dover-Eyota Starts Season with Win Against Lake City + How To Watch

Dover-Eyota took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Lake City Tigers with a sharp 3-0 victory. The Eagles not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since October 7, 2024 (when they won 3-0).

Dover-Eyota was especially dominant in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-13, 25-19.

Shelby Clark paced Dover-Eyota's offense, picking up 12 kills. Clark got some help from Lauren Peck and her 22 assists. Clark was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Dover-Eyota will venture away from home to face off against Wabasha-Kellogg at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Lake City has already played their next contest (against Lourdes), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
