It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Somerset Academy had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Mourning Sharks a 4-0 shutout. The Panthers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 matchups by three goals or more this season.

They hit Mourning with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Angelie Carrasco (2), Juliana Cortes, and Adrianne Chow-Quan.

Somerset Academy has been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season. As for Mourning, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-5.
