Cornerstone Christian won the last time they faced San Jacinto Valley Academy and things went their way on Thursday too. The Cornerstone Christian Crusaders' pitcher stepped up to hand the San Jacinto Valley Academy Wolves a 6-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Crusaders, who have now won three contests by six runs or more so far this season.

The result came thanks to Jayden Soto's shutout, as he gave up just six hits and racked up seven Ks. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in strikeouts.

At the plate, Jonus Lance was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one triple. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games he's played.

Cornerstone Christian was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .407. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as San Jacinto Valley Academy only posted a batting average of .250.

The victory made it two in a row for Cornerstone Christian and bumps their season record up to 4-1.
