             Villa Angela-St. Joseph was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight  defeat. They fell just short of the Bay Rockets by a score of  2-1. While the Vikings didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Rockets  27-25 in the first  set.
 Villa Angela-St. Joseph started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. The match finished with set scores of 25-27, 25-21,  25-17.
 Bay found their leader in underclassman  Payton Masterson, who  had 14  digs and two  aces. Masterson is  on a roll when it comes to  digs, as she's  now  had 11 or more in the last ten games she's  played.
 Villa Angela-St. Joseph's loss dropped their record down to 13-5. As for Bay, the  win was  the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 17-1.
 Villa Angela-St. Joseph has already played their next game,  a  3-0  defeat against Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy on the 7th. As for Bay, they also  didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  matchup,  a  2-1  loss against Mayfield on the 5th.
