Springtown waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Glen Rose Tigers. The Porcupines have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Tigers, too.

While Springtown won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-23.

Libby Tedder paced Springtown's offense, picking up 13 kills. Tedder got some help from Bailey Walker and her 16 assists.

Springtown's victory bumped their record up to 20-2. As for Glen Rose, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-7.

Springtown will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Tigers: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
