Basketball Recap: Granbury Comes Up Short

Granbury was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 62-58 heartbreaker at the hands of the Fossil Ridge Panthers. The Pirates were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Panthers earlier this season, when they won 48-41.

Granbury's defeat dropped their record down to 13-21. As for Fossil Ridge, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-17.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Granbury will venture away from home to challenge Saginaw at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Fossil Ridge, they will head out on the road to square off against Azle at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
