Volleyball Game Preview: Pinelands Regional Wildcats vs. Barnegat Bengals

The Pinelands Regional Wildcats will head out on the road to face off against the Barnegat Bengals at 3:45 p.m. on Monday. Pinelands Regional will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.

On Thursday, Pinelands Regional was able to grind out a solid win over Donovan Catholic, taking the game 2-0.

Meanwhile, Barnegat faced Southern Regional in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Bengals lost 3-0 to the Rams. The Bengals' loss signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Barnegat's defeat dropped their record down to 13-2. As for Pinelands Regional, their victory bumped their record up to 14-6.

Pinelands Regional came up short against Barnegat in their previous meeting back in April, falling 2-0. Can the Wildcats avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
