Volleyball Recap: Menasha Comes Up Short

Menasha was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Kiel Raiders.

Isabella Stephani paced Menasha's offense, picking up six kills. Stephani got some help from Allison Guyette and her six assists. Stephani also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Annabelle Guyette, each putting up two.

Ava Rothe was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had four digs and three aces. She has been hot for a while, having also posted 13 or more assists the last 14 times she's played.

Menasha's loss dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Kiel, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-3.

Menasha has already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Winneconne on the 27th. As for Kiel, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against West De Pere on the 27th.
