It was a good run, but West Carroll unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-match winning streak on Saturday. They fell 2-0 to the Orangeville Broncos. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Broncos this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 on September 4th.

Courtney Knop paced West Carroll's offense, picking up three kills. Knop got some help from Audri Wilcox and her five assists. Knop was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

West Carroll's loss dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Orangeville, their win bumped their record up to 5-8.

West Carroll has already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Scales Mound on the 20th. As for Orangeville, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Warren on the 20th.
