Somerset Berkley Regional easily dispatched Dighton-Rehoboth Regional two weeks ago, but unfortunately both the margin and the ultimate result were a different story in this one. The Raiders fell just short of the Apponequet Regional Lakers by a score of 8-6 on Friday. Having soared to a lofty 37 points in the game before, the Raiders couldn't push the score so high this time.

Somerset Berkley Regional's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Apponequet Regional, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. After both having extra time off, Somerset Berkley Regional and Central will shake off the cobwebs and hit the field against one another at 5:00 p.m. on the 26th. As for Apponequet Regional, they will look to defend their home field on the 27th against Old Rochester Regional at 10:00 a.m.
