Basketball Recap: Christoval Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Victory

Christoval entered their tilt with Clyde on Friday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They strolled past the Clyde Bulldogs with points to spare, taking the game 60-44. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Cougars also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2018.

Christoval has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.9 points per game. As for Clyde, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Christoval will venture away from home to take on Reagan County at 7:45 p.m. on January 3, 2025. As for Clyde, they are taking a road trip to square off against Merkel at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
