Normal Community has no trouble against Rockford East

The Normal Community Ironmen scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Saturday. They strolled past Rockford East with points to spare, taking the game 75-56. The win was nothing new for Normal Community as they're now sitting on ten straight.

Rockford East's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Will Robinson, who scored 16 points along with two steals, and Sterling Hoarde who scored 15 points along with five rebounds. That's the first time this season that Robinson scored 15 or more points. The team also got some help courtesy of Tarion Mcfadden-leach, who scored six points.

Normal Community's victory bumped their record up to 17-1. As for Rockford East, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost 12 of their last 14 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-16 record this season.

Normal Community will take on Peoria Notre Dame at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Rockford East on the road again on Saturday and play against Plainfield Central at 6:45 p.m. on January 13th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Illinois (Plainfield Central is ranked 463rd, while Rockford East is ranked 467th).
