Volleyball Recap: Dawson-Bryant Takes a Loss

Dawson-Bryant was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They came up short against the Valley Indians, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Indians this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in August.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-11, 25-16.

Valley found their leader in freshman Laylee McGraw, who had 24 digs and three assists.

Dawson-Bryant's loss dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Valley, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 15-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dawson-Bryant will host South Point at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Valley, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against South Webster at 7:00 p.m.
