Baseball Recap: Carroll Takes a Loss

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Carroll's offense. They came up short against the Bondurant-Farrar Bluejays on Wednesday, falling 8-0. The Tigers have struggled against the Bluejays recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost meeting.

Carroll's loss dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Bondurant-Farrar, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season.

Carroll has already played their next match, a 6-1 defeat against Winterset on the 12th. As for Bondurant-Farrar, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 4-2 loss against Boone on the 12th.
