Northeastern is headed into the match after thoroughly thrashing Cambridge City Lincoln: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that Northeastern blew Cambridge City Lincoln out of the water with a 70-11 final score. The Knights have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 15 contests by 20 points or more this season.

It was another big night for Ava Mikesell, who went 5 for 7 en route to 14 points along with six assists and four steals. Mackenzie Johnson was another key player, going 6 of 9 on her way to 13 points.

Northeastern smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in four consecutive games.

Meanwhile, with a playoff win on the line, Centerville rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They secured a 44-40 W over the Tigers. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bulldogs.

Northeastern pushed their record up to 22-1 with the win, which was their 18th straight on the road dating back to last season. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.9 points per game. As for Centerville, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-12 record this season.

Everything came up roses for Northeastern against Centerville when the teams last played back in January, as the squad secured a 61-33 victory. Does Northeastern have another victory up their sleeve, or will Centerville turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
