The Ferris Saxons suffered a tough 10-3 defeat at the hands of the Cheney Blackhawks. For Cheney's part, Quinn Hubbs made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he struck out ten batters over six innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off three hits. Hubbs was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with a home run, two runs, and two RBI.
