Volleyball Recap: Oakman Takes a Loss + How To Watch

It was a proper cat-fight when Oakman duked it out with Cullman on Saturday. The Wildcats fell 2-0 to the Bearcats. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Oakman was the model of consistency in the loss, scoring 13 points in every single set they played. The final score came out to 25-13, 25-13.

Despite the defeat, Oakman saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Annleigh Hagood had eight digs and five aces.

Oakman's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Cullman, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Oakman didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Hatton on the 23rd. Cullman has also already played their next contest (against Curry), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
