Patterson extended their losing streak to three on Friday, dropping them down to 1-5. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 27-21 heartbreaker at the hands of the East Union Lancers. The Tigers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Lancers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in November of 2024.

Despite the loss, Patterson still got an impressive performance from Dasen Pettis, who rushed for 122 yards and a pair of TDs.

As for East Union, they pushed their record up to 6-0 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. Those 27 points were actually the fewest they have put up all season, but given the result they're probably not too concerned.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead East Union to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kirk Simoni, who threw for 242 yards and one touchdown while completing 71.9% of his passes, and also rushed for 32 yards and one score. A healthy portion of Simoni's aerial production (111 yards to be exact) went to Jp Abrew.
