Volleyball Recap: Jupiter Christian Has No Trouble Against Somerset College Prep Academy + How To Watch

Jupiter Christian won the last time they faced Somerset College Prep Academy and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Eagles put the hurt on the Spartans with a sharp 3-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Eagles.

Jupiter Christian walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). The final score came out to 25-14, 25-21, 25-21.

Ella Brodner paced Jupiter Christian's offense, picking up 17 kills. Brodner got some help from Addison Dorsey and her 35 assists. Dorsey was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Somerset College Prep Academy's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jocelyn Burch, who had seven digs and two aces. Mia Hurtarte was another key player, getting eight kills.

The victory got Jupiter Christian back to even at 10-10. As for Somerset College Prep Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-7.

Looking ahead, after both having extra time off, Jupiter Christian and Oxbridge Academy will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Somerset College Prep Academy, they have already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Lake Placid on the 9th.
