Browne hadn't done well against South Mountain recently (they were 1-6 in their previous seven matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Bruins walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Jaguars. For the Bruins, this counts as revenge for the 3-0 win the Jaguars walked away with the last time they faced one another back in March of 2024.

In the three sets Browne was on fire: they won each by at least 14 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 22-25, 25-11, 25-11.

Browne has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season. As for South Mountain, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-10.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Browne is set to take on their familiar foe Cesar Chavez at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, South Mountain will face off against rival Maryvale at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
