Softball Recap: Hume Find Success

While Hume's win against Rich Hill wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Hornets skirted past the Tigers 12-10. The victory continues a trend for the Hornets in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won three in a row.

Kamee Snider was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in all five of her plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Baileigh Rogers, who scored two runs while getting on base in three of her five plate appearances.

Hume's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Rich Hill, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Hume will square off against rival Greenfield at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Rich Hill is set to take on their familiar foe Jasper at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
