Volleyball Recap: Sports Leadership & Management Has No Trouble Against Norland

Sports Leadership & Management barely beat Norland the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Wolves put the hurt on the Vikings with a sharp 3-0 win on Wednesday. The Wolves have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Vikings, too.

Sports Leadership & Management's got stronger as the match went on, holding Norland to fewer and fewer points set over set. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-17, 25-16.

Sports Leadership & Management's offense was headlined by Kai Castro and Lucas Zolla, who picked up 15 kills apiece. They got some help from Matheo Guiyesse and his 30 assists. Zolla was also solid from the service line: he led the team with seven aces.

Sports Leadership & Management now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Norland, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season.

Sports Leadership & Management will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Downtown Doral at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. The Wolves are facing the Dolphins at the right time seeing as the Dolphins are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Norland, they have already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Booker T. Washington on the 3rd.
