Baseball Game Preview: Spring Lake Lakers vs. Holland Dutch

For the second straight game, Spring Lake will face off against Holland. The Lakers will look to defend their home field on Thursday against the Dutch at 4:15 p.m. The timing is sure in Spring Lake's favor as the squad sits on 18 straight wins at home (dating back to last season) while Holland has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.

While Spring Lake's victory against Holland wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Lakers skirted past the Dutch 4-2.

For Holland's part, Tanner Kingery made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and got on base in all three of his plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.

Holland's loss dropped their record down to 5-19. As for Spring Lake, their win bumped their record up to 27-3.
