Volleyball Game Preview: Camden Hills Windjammers vs. Maranacook Black Bears

The Camden Hills Windjammers are taking a road trip to square off against the Maranacook Black Bears at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Thursday, Camden Hills sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over North Yarmouth Academy.

Camden Hills wouldn't go down easily and took North Yarmouth Academy into a fifth set where they got it done with a 11-point win. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 23-25, 20-25, 25-15, 15-4.

Meanwhile, Maranacook beat Orono 3-1 on Saturday.

The win got Camden Hills back to even at 6-6. As for Maranacook, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.

Camden Hills was able to grind out a solid win over Maranacook in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, winning 3-1. Will the Windjammers repeat their success, or do the Black Bears have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
