Ripon is 0-9 against Waupun since April of 2017 but things could change on Tuesday. The Tigers will head out on the road to take on the Warriors at 4:45 p.m. Ripon is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.5 runs per game this season.

Ripon came up short against Wautoma on Monday, falling 7-1. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Ripon saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lily Kwakkel, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base.

Meanwhile, Waupun had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11.3 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Raccoons 6-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Warriors have posted since June 7, 2024.

Ripon's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Waupun, their win bumped their record up to 6-2.

Ripon suffered a grim 16-1 defeat to Waupun in their previous meeting back in May of 2024. Can the Tigers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
