Basketball Game Preview: Meade Buffaloes vs. South Central Timberwolves

The Meade Buffaloes will take on the South Central Timberwolves at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. South Central took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Meade, who comes in off a win.

Last Saturday, Meade didn't have too much trouble with Elkhart as they won 52-38. Given the Buffaloes' advantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 105th, while the Wildcats are ranked 248th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

South Central has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They were two points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 53-51 heartbreaker at the hands of South Gray.

South Central's defeat dropped their record down to 15-2. As for Meade, they pushed their record up to 11-5 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home.
