Game recap: Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran High School Football Team defeats Fort Wayne Bishop Luers

Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran (Fort Wayne, Ind.) beat Fort Wayne Bishop Luers (Fort Wayne, Ind.) 42-21 after a strong game from Jon Poore, who rushed for five touchdowns. Thanks to solid play, the senior now has 14 touchdowns for the year.

After taking the lead on a touchdown run by Poore in the second quarter, the Cadets were up 21-7 at the half.

Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran grew its lead to 21 points entering the fourth quarter. FWCL scored once in the quarter on a Poore touchdown run.

With the win the Cadets extended their winning streak to seven games. Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran defeated Bellmont 48-15 last week.

The loss comes after Fort Wayne Bishop Luers defeated Heritage 18-13 last week. The loss snapped Fort Wayne Bishop Luers' two-game winning streak.
