Basketball Game Preview: Wakefield Warriors vs. Langley Saxons

Wakefield hasn't had much luck against Langley recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Wakefield Warriors will take on the Langley Saxons in a holiday battle at at 7:30 p.m.

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 77-20, which was the final score in Wakefield's tilt against West Potomac on Tuesday. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Langley strolled past Robinson with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 39-23. The 39-point effort marked the Saxons' lowest-scoring matchup of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Langley's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-2. As for Wakefield, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.

Wakefield took a serious blow against Langley in their previous meeting back in January, falling 62-31. Can Wakefield avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
