Volleyball Recap: St. Mary's Academy Takes a Loss + How To Watch

St. Mary's Academy was the 3-1 winner over Stargate School when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Wildcats fell 3-1 to the Eagles on Thursday. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

St. Mary's Academy started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 24-26, 25-13, 25-15, 25-11.

St. Mary's Academy's loss dropped their record down to 8-10. As for Stargate School, they pushed their record up to 19-2 with the victory, which was their tenth straight on the road.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. Mary's Academy will host Arrupe Jesuit at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Stargate School, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Peak to Peak at 6:00 p.m.
