Softball Recap: Greenwood Comes Up Short

Juniata hit Greenwood with a six-run fifth inning on Monday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Wildcats came up short against the Indians, falling 13-3. The Wildcats haven't had much luck with the Indians recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Jayden Brosius was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and one double. That home run was her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Kamryn Walton, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one double.

Greenwood's defeat dropped their record down to 2-14. As for Juniata, the win snapped their losing streak at six games and leaves them with a 2-7 record.

Greenwood does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Juniata, they will take on Hughesville at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
