If Saint Ignatius College Prep was riding high fresh off their 15-5 takedown of Brooks last Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Saint Ignatius College Prep fell just short of Varsity Opponent by a score of 10-9 on Thursday. The loss was the Wolfpack's first of the season.

Max Molloy and Connor Hites stepped up to the plate in a big way. Molloy scored three runs while going 2-for-4, while Hites scored two runs while going 2-for-3. Hites also brought in an RBI, marking his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Jacob Jelinek, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Having lost for the first time this season, Saint Ignatius College Prep fell to 3-1.
