While South Lamar's win against Holy Spirit Catholic wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Stallions had just enough and edged out the Saints 3-2 on Tuesday. The Stallions haven't had any issues with the Saints recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.

South Lamar's win bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Holy Spirit Catholic, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Looking ahead, South Lamar will head out to square off against Fayette County at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Holy Spirit Catholic, they will challenge Northside at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
