The home team had won the previous four meetings between Roswell and Woodstock, and Roswell kept the tradition alive. The Hornets walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Wolverines on Thursday. This was a revenge game for the Hornets: when they faced off against the Wolverines back in August, they had to take a 2-1 loss.

While Roswell won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-22.

Rumi Eichelberger paced Roswell's offense, picking up nine kills. Eichelberger got some help from Natalie Chandler and her ten assists. Finally, Cailyn Williams kept Roswell's defense grounded, leading the team with four blocks.

Roswell's win bumped their record up to 10-20. As for Woodstock, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 12-16.

Roswell has already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Etowah on the 2nd. Woodstock does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
