Basketball Recap: Bokoshe Tigers vs. Braggs Wildcats
Bokoshe lost against Braggs back in November of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Bokoshe Tigers were dealt an 83-33 defeat at the hands of the Braggs Wildcats. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 436th, while the Wildcats are ranked 77th).
Braggs' win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Daryl Winter, who almost dropped a double-double on 21 points and nine steals. Those nine steals gave Winter a new career-high. Hazen Edwards was another key player, going 8 for 14 on his way to 20 points along with five boards and three steals.
Bokoshe's loss was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Braggs, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 17-1.
Bokoshe has already played their next matchup (against Haileyville), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Braggs has already played their next contest, a 67-21 win against Keota on the 27th.
