Basketball Recap: Glendora Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Glendora was the 68-52 winner over Ayala when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Tartans fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 49-46 on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Tartans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 256th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 77th).

This is the second loss in a row for Glendora and nudges their season record down to 8-6. Even worse, they were so close both times: the defeats came by an average of only three points. As for Ayala, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-2.

Looking ahead, Glendora will be taking part in a tournament against Marquez at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Ayala will take on Troy in a holiday battle at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
