Baseball Recap: Coventry Comets vs. John Hay

On Wednesday, the Coventry Comets made easy work of John Hay and carried off an 18-2 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Coventry.

Ryan Snyder was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching an inning while giving up no earned runs or hits (he also didn't allow any walks). Snyder was also big at the plate, scoring four runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

In other batting news, Coventry let Carter Smith and Bryce White-Heldman loose on the outfield. Smith went 3-for-4 with four RBI and two runs, while White-Heldman scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Lucas Futrell, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.
